Nobles County Art Center

The Nobles County Art Center is a Non-Profit Educational Organization and was organized in the fall of 1960 and incorporated in January 1961. The purpose of the corporation is to nourish the arts, and to bring the arts and cultures of other communities, nations and civilizations to Nobles County and the surrounding area.
A different exhibit is offered every month. These exhibits feature artists from throughout the United States and many other countries. Opening reception for the artist/s is usually held the first Sunday of the month from 2-4 PM in the gallery.  Admission and refreshments are free to the public.

The Art Center is open Monday to Friday from 2-4:30 PM.

Tours are available upon request.

The Great Books Discussion Group meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month in the Art Center. Everyone is welcome. There are no fees charged.

A Student Art Show is held in March. Jr./Sr. High School students from area schools exhibit their art pieces.

An Amazing Area Art Show is in April and we invite all artists to show original artwork in a variety of mediums. This is a juried art show with cash prizes and merit awards.

The Nobles County Art Center also has a permanent collection and selections from this collection are shown from time to time in the gallery.

The Art Center hosts traditional concerts throughout the year.
