Water Services
- WPU utilizes a total of 9 wells, ranging in depth from 57 to 102 feet
with pumping capabilities of 5 million gallons per day. The city's average
consumption is 2.7 million gallons per day. WPU's water treatment consists
of an iron and manganese removal plant utilizing green sand gravity
filtering, with daily capacity of 5 million gallons per day.

Wastewater Services
- WPU manages the municipal wastewater treatment and collection facilities
for the City of Worthington
- Wastewater treatment occurs in a three-phase filtering plant with
average daily flow capacity of 2.7 millions gallons and a peak of 4
million gallons.

Renewable Energy
- Worthington has a wind farm of six turbines

Resources (MER) provides Worthington with natural gas
for residential, commercial, and industrial consumers. Currently in
Minnesota, MER serves 191,000 customers in 165 communities throughout the
