Oxford Street is a part of County Hwy 35, which is old US Hwy 16 which was the route west to Luverne and Sioux Falls and the route East to Jackson and all cities to Winona prior to the building of I-90.

Oxford street runs parallel to the new I-90 about a mile south of I-90. Oxford can be reached from I-90 at I-90 Exit 42, I-90 Exit 43, and I-90 Exit 45.
